At approximately 7:12 p.m. on November 5, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to exit without payment when he was confronted by an employee. The suspect then brandished a pocketknife, exited the store and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Black male, approximately 5’8” wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and gray sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
