ROBBERY: 2900 block of Columbia Pike Arlington VA

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on October 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was at a bus stop in the 1000 block of S. Glebe Road when he was approached by the two male suspects wearing ski masks. The victim ran from the area and the suspects caught up with him in the 900 block of S. Walter Reed where a struggle ensued over the victim’s cellphone and backpack during which the suspects implied a weapon. The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the stolen items. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8”-5’10”, wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, wearing a red sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and a black ski mask. The investigation is ongoing.
