At approximately 6:17 p.m. on August 25, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business and allegedly began tampering with merchandise, during which an employee confronted him. The suspect then attempted to exit the store with the merchandise without payment, when the employee confronted the suspect again. The suspect made threatening statements towards the employee before leaving the store. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located an individual matching the suspect’s description in the area and took him into custody. Alusine Tiafoh, 26, of Greenbelt, Md., was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
