At approximately 1:05 a.m. on March 11, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly entered the business and concealed merchandise. The suspect then purchased other merchandise, and an employee confronted him about the hidden items. The suspect made threatening statements implying a weapon before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located an individual who matched the suspect’s description in the area and took him into custody. Robert Adams Jackson, 28, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
