At approximately 6:31 a.m. on December 12, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female suspect entered the business and concealed merchandise. An employee told the suspect to leave and she subsequently went behind the counter, assaulted an employee, stole cigarettes and alcohol and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Black female, wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, pink sandals and carrying a black bag. The investigation is ongoing.
