At approximately 1:22 a.m. on April 2, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and asked an employee for cigarettes behind the counter. The suspect then grabbed the cigarettes from the employee’s hand, made threatening statements and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a tall Black male, approximately 50-60 years old with a short gray beard, wearing all black clothing, a face covering and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
