ROBBERY: 4200 block of Fairfax Drive Arlington VA

At approximately 7:31 p.m. on May 16, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly entered the business and attempted to purchase cigarettes, which an employee refused as they recognized the suspect as having previously stolen from the business. The suspect then jumped over the counter, made threatening statements towards the employee and stole cigarettes before fleeing the store. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and an officer subsequently located an individual matching the description of the suspect inside the Ballston Metro and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, he provided false personal identification information to officers, and it was determined the suspect previously robbed the same business on May 13, 2025 and would be charged for both incidents. Ricky Nolan, 36, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery (x2), Giving False Identification to Police, Destruction of Property and Public Intoxication. He was held without bond.
