At approximately 2:50 p.m. on October 25, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, allegedly collected bottles of wine and other merchandise and exited the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspect outside the store during which he raised a bottle of wine and threatened the employee with it before smashing it on the ground. The suspect then lifted his shirt and displayed what appeared to be the handle of a firearm and fled the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located the suspect in the Ballston Metro station and took him into custody. Ernest Price, 26, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
