At approximately 1:13 p.m. on August 19, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when the male suspect approached him, demanded cash and displayed what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing and a mask. The investigation is ongoing.
