At approximately 1:20 p.m. on August 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, allegedly concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspect outside the business, during which the suspect struck them before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and a responding officer located an individual matching the suspect’s description in the area and took him into custody. Anthony Lamons, 31, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
