Police responded to a reported assault at a business late Wednesday night. Investigators say a woman attempted to purchase merchandise using invalid payment. When confronted by an employee, she threw an electronic device at them before fleeing with stolen goods.
No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 35 years old, with short black hair, wearing a black shirt and shorts. The case remains under investigation.
