At approximately 2:45 a.m. on June 8, police were dispatched to the late report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside the business when he engaged in conversation with four juvenile male suspects which quickly turned into a verbal dispute. As the victim exited the business, the four suspects assaulted the victim. One of the suspects brandished what appeared to be a firearm and the other suspects stole the victim’s jewelry before fleeing the scene in a sedan. The victim sustained minor injuries. At approximately 7:37 p.m. a lookout was broadcast out of Fairfax County for an armed robbery in which three juvenile suspects fled the scene in a sedan driven by the fourth suspect. Responding officers located the suspect vehicle in the 4500 block of 31st Street S. and took the four occupants of the vehicle into custody without incident. It was later determined these individuals matched the description of the suspects from the prior incident. During the course of the investigation, an airsoft gun, and jewelry were recovered. Charges for the juvenile suspects are pending.
