Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery reported the evening of March 9 near North Pershing Drive and North Piedmont Street.
According to authorities, the victim was walking outside when a man approached from behind, grabbed him, and demanded his belongings.
The suspect stole the victim’s bags and wallet before fleeing on foot.
No injuries were reported.
Responding officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. He is described as a Black male, approximately 30 years old, wearing all black clothing.
The investigation is ongoing.
