Arlington police responded to a robbery by force at a local business on the 1100 block of S. George Mason Drive late Friday morning. According to the initial investigation, two juvenile suspects—a male and a female—entered the establishment, concealed merchandise, and attempted to leave the store without paying.
An employee confronted the suspects outside the store, at which point the male juvenile allegedly shoved the employee before both suspects fled the scene together. Fortunately, the employee was not injured during the encounter and was able to recover the stolen merchandise.
The Arlington County Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident. No arrests have been reported at this time.
