At approximately 8:20 a.m. on May 3, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. It was determined at approximately 8:00 p.m. on May 2, the male victim was entering his parked vehicle when two male suspects approached him, assaulted him and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained serious injuries and left the scene. Upon his report, he was transported to an area hospital. The suspects are described as young Hispanic males wearing black facemasks. The investigation is ongoing.
