A robbery unfolded early Thursday morning when a male suspect reportedly entered a retail store in the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard, gathered merchandise, and exited without paying. When confronted by loss prevention staff, the suspect allegedly shoved the employee and fled on foot.
Loss prevention personnel followed the man as he crossed the Key Bridge into Washington, D.C. There, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department apprehended him.
David Frye, 38, of Washington, D.C., was arrested. Arlington County authorities have charged him with Robbery.
