A man who allegedly stole merchandise from a business on N. Harrison Street was arrested shortly after the incident.
Police responded to a larceny in progress around 8:05 p.m. and learned that the male suspect had entered the business, acted disorderly, and made threatening statements toward two employees when they confronted him. He then left the store with stolen items.
A lookout was issued, and a responding officer located the suspect in the 5300 block of Langston Boulevard. Police arrested Ahmad Bilal, 51, of No Fixed Address. He has been charged with two counts of Robbery and is currently being held without bond.
