A 40-year-old man was arrested following a reported robbery at a business on South Quincy Street, according to Arlington County police.
Officers responded to the 2800 block of S. Quincy Street at approximately 1:15 p.m. Police allege a man entered the business, went into a secured back room and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from an employee who was handling money. The suspect then fled on foot.
During the investigation, officers located an individual in the area who matched the suspect’s description and took him into custody.
Police identified the arrested man as Tyrone Cooper, 40, of no fixed address. Cooper was charged with robbery and held without bond.
