A woman was robbed in a parking lot on North Glebe Road Tuesday evening, prompting an active police investigation.
Authorities say the victim had just exited her vehicle when a man approached from behind, shoved her, and grabbed her purse before running off.
Officers spotted the suspect nearby, but he fled on foot and was not immediately apprehended. However, investigators later identified the suspect and secured a warrant for his arrest on robbery charges.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
