Time: Between approximately 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., August 12
Arlington County police are investigating a burglary reported at a closed business on Fairfax Drive.
Police were dispatched at approximately 9:36 a.m. on August 13 for the late report. Investigators determined that between approximately 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. the previous evening, a male suspect entered the closed business and stole a safe before fleeing.
Police described the suspect as a heavy-set Black male with facial hair who was wearing a blue shirt, light blue shorts and black shoes.
The investigation remains ongoing.
