A routine shoplifting incident escalated into a case of attempted malicious wounding after a fleeing suspect vehicle struck a bystander. Two male suspects reportedly entered a business, collected merchandise, and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by an employee, the suspects exited the store and entered a waiting vehicle.
A witness tried to intervene by pursuing the suspects, but was struck by their getaway vehicle, sustaining minor injuries. He was treated and released on scene.
Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:
