Police are searching for a woman accused of attempting to use pepper spray while fleeing a store with stolen merchandise.
According to investigators, the suspect concealed merchandise in a bag and left the business without paying. When confronted by an employee, she allegedly attempted to deploy pepper spray, but the device failed to discharge.
The suspect then fled on foot, although the stolen items were recovered. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a White female, approximately 30 years old, about 5 feet tall and weighing around 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing dark clothing and sunglasses.
