At approximately 4:50 p.m. on June 16, police were dispatched to the area of 23rd Street S. and Richmond Highway for the report of shots heard. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area and did not locate any injuries or evidence of shots being fired. At approximately 5:48 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of 23rd Street S. to gather additional information regarding the report of shots heard. It was determined approximately one hour prior, the four victims were inside their residence when they heard a loud noise and observed a broken window and a shell casing. During the course of the investigation, responding officers recovered evidence confirming several shots had been fired in the area and did not locate any injuries. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
