A domestic dispute outside a North Arlington residence resulted in a man being charged with malicious wounding after police say he struck a woman with a spatula.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of North Scott Street after receiving a report of an assault. Investigators determined a verbal argument between a man and woman escalated when the suspect allegedly struck the victim with a spatula.
The victim suffered a laceration and received treatment at the scene from medics before being released.
Police said the suspect briefly left the area but later returned, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Joshua Moore, 27, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
