A violent assault on the 800 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive ended with one man hospitalized and two suspects in custody. Around 10:19 p.m., a male victim exited his parked vehicle when he was allegedly attacked by three males. During the assault, the suspects struck the victim multiple times with a knife, causing serious lacerations.
Responding officers provided emergency aid before medics arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two of the suspects—a juvenile male and 25-year-old Jacobo Orellana Turcios of Arlington, VA—were taken into custody after being spotted fleeing the area. Turcios has been charged with Malicious Wounding and Obstruction of Justice. Juvenile petitions were also filed against the teen suspect for the same charges. The third suspect remains at large.
