Arlington County police are investigating a robbery after a shoplifting suspect allegedly threw merchandise at a store employee while fleeing a business on Wilson Boulevard.
Investigators say the suspect entered the store, concealed merchandise, removed items from their packaging and threw merchandise toward an employee before leaving without paying.
No injuries were reported.
Responding officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a thin Black male between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 150 and 165 pounds, with facial hair and wearing all black clothing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
