Police are investigating an early morning robbery that occurred along South Glebe Road after a vehicle service dispute escalated into a threatening encounter.
According to investigators, the victim had been repairing a vehicle occupied by four individuals. After completing the work, the victim requested payment when a passenger exited the vehicle, displayed what appeared to be a knife, and made threatening remarks.
The victim was able to move to safety before the suspect returned to the vehicle, described as a red sedan, and fled the scene with the other occupants.
No injuries were reported. The suspect was described only as a Black male. The investigation is ongoing.
