ARLINGTON, VA — Police obtained a robbery warrant for a suspect following an investigation into two alleged theft incidents at a business on South Glebe Road.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of S. Glebe Road at approximately 1:12 p.m. on September 18 for a reported robbery.
Police determined a male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise in a shopping cart and headed toward the exit without paying. Employees confronted the suspect, who then allegedly fled the scene.
Investigators also linked the suspect to an incident at the same business on September 10. In that incident, police said the man concealed merchandise in a bag and attempted to leave without paying. When an employee confronted him near the exit, the suspect allegedly struggled with the employee before fleeing with the merchandise.
Police identified the suspect during their investigation and obtained a warrant charging him with robbery.
