Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery at a business in the 3000 block of Washington Boulevard early March 6.
According to investigators, a man entered the business and went behind the counter, prompting an employee to confront him. The suspect then made threatening statements toward the employee before stealing cigarettes and fleeing the scene on foot.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Officers canvassed the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, gray jeans and a black face covering. The investigation remains ongoing.
