ARLINGTON, VA — Police are investigating a robbery on South Hayes Street in which three men allegedly demanded cash from a victim before fleeing.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of S. Hayes Street at approximately 9:14 p.m. on September 8 for a delayed report of a robbery. Police determined the incident occurred approximately one hour before it was reported.
According to the investigation, the male victim was inside a business when three men approached him and began a conversation. The suspects then allegedly demanded the victim’s cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspects as Black males approximately 30 to 40 years old. They were reported to be wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
The investigation remains ongoing.
