Two Arrested After Unlawful Entry on South Eads Street

Location: 1900 block of S. Eads Street, Arlington VA
Time: 1:50 p.m. on May 3

Two individuals were arrested Saturday afternoon after allegedly entering a vacant apartment on South Eads Street.

According to Arlington police, officers responded to reports of unlawful entry and discovered a man and woman inside the vacant unit. Both suspects were taken into custody at the scene.

Police identified the woman as Brenda Villanueva Flores, 28, of no fixed address. She was charged with unlawful entry.

The second suspect, Wesley Gilbert, 39, also of no fixed address, allegedly provided officers with false identifying information during the investigation. Authorities later discovered he was wanted in other jurisdictions. Gilbert was charged with unlawful entry and giving false identity to law enforcement, in addition to being served outstanding warrants. He was held without bond.

The investigation remains ongoing.
