Arlington County police investigated an assault involving a group of juveniles at the Arlington County Fair on Saturday night.
At approximately 10:03 p.m., officers working at the fair noticed a large group of juveniles gathered in an area and determined that an assault had just occurred.
According to police, one victim and two juvenile males who knew each other became involved in a verbal dispute. The two juveniles allegedly assaulted the first victim. A second victim who attempted to intervene was also assaulted.
Both victims sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening and did not require medical treatment at the scene.
Police identified the individuals involved and provided the victims with information about obtaining warrants through the Office of the Magistrate. The investigation remains ongoing.
