At approximately 2:58 p.m. on September 6, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect forced entry into a vacant residence, causing property damage, and subsequently fled the scene when the owner of the residence arrived. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a 20-30 year old Black male wearing a green shirt, khaki pants, and a bandana. The investigation is ongoing.
