Location: 800 block of N. Manchester Street, Arlington VA
Time: Approximately 6:13 p.m. on April 29
Arlington County police responded to a reported burglary in the 800 block of North Manchester Street during the early evening hours of April 29.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a male suspect had unlawfully entered a vacant residence. A witness in the area observed the suspicious activity and promptly alerted authorities.
Responding officers quickly located the suspect still at the scene. The individual, identified as 57-year-old Ernest Duran of Silver Spring, Maryland, was taken into custody without incident.
Duran has been charged with unlawful entry. No injuries or additional property damage were reported in connection with the incident.
