A verbal dispute escalated into a violent robbery involving pepper spray on 9th Street S late Tuesday night. Police were dispatched to a reported assault with a weapon and found two victims—a woman and a juvenile male—who had been attacked.
The victims stated they were approached by two known suspects. During a verbal altercation, one of the suspects allegedly used pepper spray on them. As the victims tried to flee, the suspects chased them, assaulted them, and stole cellphones and other electronics before fleeing.
Both victims were treated on scene by medics for injuries related to pepper spray exposure.
Suspect One has been identified, and warrants were issued for two counts of Robbery.
Suspect Two remains unidentified and is described as a thin-build Black female, approximately 5’5”. The investigation is ongoing.
