Location: 2900 block of S. Glebe Road, Arlington VA
Time: Approximately 8:42 p.m. on September 10, 2025
A wanted man was taken into custody on the evening of September 10 after a dramatic attempt to flee from police in Arlington. Officers spotted the suspect in the 2900 block of S. Glebe Road and attempted to approach. The suspect fled in his vehicle but quickly crashed into a fire hydrant.
After the crash, the suspect exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. During the pursuit, he fell and sustained a minor injury before being taken into custody. A firearm and suspected narcotics were recovered during the investigation.
The suspect, Naim Arrak, 27, of Gainesville, VA, was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including:
