The Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit has arrested Tyjuan Bullock, 21, with no fixed address, in connection with a violent string of robberies at a local tobacco shop on Wilson Boulevard. Bullock faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, four counts of Robbery, and Attempted Robbery. He is currently being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.

The investigation began after officers responded to an assault with a weapon on September 11. According to authorities, Bullock entered the business, went behind the counter, and began taking merchandise. When confronted by an employee, Bullock allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times during a struggle. The employee sustained serious injuries but was later released from the hospital.

While investigating the stabbing, detectives uncovered four previous, unreported robberies at the same business, believed to be committed by Bullock:

  • June 17, 2025: Bullock reportedly entered the store, brandished a firearm, and stole merchandise.

  • August 21, 2025: He allegedly pushed and threatened an employee before fleeing with stolen goods.

  • August 24, 2025: Similar to the prior incident, Bullock reportedly threatened an employee and stole merchandise.

  • November 5, 2024: Detectives linked Bullock to a robbery where he again went behind the counter, threatened staff, and fled with stolen items.

Following a detailed investigation, police identified Bullock and obtained arrest warrants. He surrendered to law enforcement on October 28, 2025.

The Arlington County Police Department continues to investigate the case and encourages anyone with additional information to contact their tip line at 703-228-4180.
